I am a native Detroiter born and raised on the east side of Detroit. I am a proud of graduate of East Catholic High School. I am also a graduate of the University of Michigan in Instructional Technology. I am currently working on my master’s degree at Purdue University with a master’s in education, education leadership. My goal is to be an academic professor.

 

I have lived in Los Angeles for 11 years where my husband and I raised our 3 children. I love to cook and travel, and my hobbies are reading and thrifty store shopping.

 

My favorite music artists are Prince, Will Downing, KEM, Leela James, and the phenomenal Jill Scott.

 

I have 2 amazing grandsons Carter and Collins. I have been married for 35 years. A member of Third New Hope Baptist for over 21 years.

 

I love my membership with Ladies League of Detroit. I know that my sisters have my back. LLD has motivated me to aim for my goals in education. Strengthen me in my professional and personal development. Inspire me to discover my purpose.
