Testimonial

I joined the LLD because I saw myself, and still do, as a woman in the middle.  A woman who is in the middle of finding her path, paving her future, shedding old skins and gaining new friends. A woman who is in the middle of finding her true self and discovering a sisterhood that she never thought possible.  My experiences in the last 2 years have been life giving and spirit lifting. I spent a year on the Community Service Committee, serving a variety of organizations and people, alongside my sisters. I have had educational opportunities to learn more about myself, as well as others. I have spent time bonding with other women through shared heartaches, joys and karaoke!  Whether we have been singing, laughing, eating or praying together, it has always been about genuine care for one another.
