Rinetra Thompson
Rinetra Thompson is an assistance payments lead worker for MDHHS. I serve as a mentor for the probationary and seasoned staff in the office. I conduct trainings that educate staff on the various programs and resources that we offer to those in dire need or seeking assistance to become self-sufficient. I am passionate about helping others and helping them understand that a set back is preparation for a greater come back. Prior to my current role, I was a deputy court clerk for the 50th District Court for 12 years. Lastly, I have a cosmetics line, Simpliciti Cosmetics. My baby is currently under construction and being revamped so stay tuned…
I have a Bachelor of Science in HR from Oakland University, and a Masters in HR Management from Walden University.
My daughter is 8 years-old and is my pride and joy. I enjoy spending quality time with my daughter, family and friends. I love to laugh, shop, dance, eat, travel and overall enjoy life!
